As we approach the four-year anniversary of the US Dodd-Frank Act, many new financial industry rules meant to reform Wall Street remain incomplete. Bloomberg Government, in partnership with CFA Institute, recently held a panel discussion, “Where Do Financial Institutions Go from Here?,” to examine the outlook for several important areas of reform:

  • Shadow banking
  • Prudential standards and resolution planning
  • Securities regulations, including corporate governance issues
  • Consumer protection rules
