Biography
Apoorv Bhargava is a senior associate at Breakout Capital, specializing in global emerging markets macro strategy. Previously, he worked at the International Monetary Fund, where he developed frameworks to detect capital flow surges and assessed the effectiveness of capital controls under the Integrated Policy Framework. His research appears in academic journals, books, and specialist central banking and financial policy outlets. Bhargava holds an MA in International Economics and Finance from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and dual degrees in Economics and Civil Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani.
