Biography
Lison Christiaens completed her master’s degree in macroeconomics and finance at the University of Liège, graduating with the highest distinction and valedictorian. During her studies, she did an internship in the monetary policy department at the National Bank of Belgium, where she researched inflation expectations under the guidance of head of group Bruno De Backer. She has also worked as a strategic consultant with HEC Consulting for two years as student entrepreneur. She is now pursuing a double PhD in financial econometrics between the University of Liège and Maastricht University, focusing on bubble behavior in macro-finance data using non-causal models.
