Tahmeen Ahmad, CFA, is a financial management specialist with the Asian Development Bank, working with brilliant teams to develop bankable, sustainable investment solutions for the Asia and Pacific region, particularly in the ecological protection and clean energy space. Earning the ESG Certificate from CFA Institute added a neat toolkit and incentive. She started her career as a Chartered Accountant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, providing audit and business advisory services for financial, energy and social sectors. She is always a supporter of the underdog and her best memory is a global win on an MBA stock pitch team case competition in Singapore, for a little-known company in semi-conductor manufacturing.
The pitta bird is a rare sight in tropical forests, even to the trained eyes of birdwatchers. Yet there she was, perched on the window of my condo, in a busy metropolis.
