Speaker Change: Julie McDowell

Julie McDowell of Standard Life Investments will be replacing Ken Costa at this year’s CFA Institute 64th Annual Conference in Edinburgh. Ms. McDowell’s session, “Adding Value through Values: The Evolution of Sustainable and Responsible Investing (SRI)” will address how SRI fits into current management strategies and the different ways that SRI strategies are executed.  

Ms. McDowell has served on a number of international expert advisory bodies, including the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development’s intergovernmental working group of experts on international standards of accounting and reporting (UNCTAD/ISAR) group of consultative experts on corporate social responsibility, the British Standards Institute committee on sustainable development, and the working group that developed a sector supplement to the global reporting initiative for the mining and metals industry.
