Biography
Phil Pearlman is the executive editor at StockTwits. He is a partner at Social Leverage, LLC, and makes early-stage investments in web-based companies. Pearlman ran a long/short equity hedge fund that focused on behavioral strategies and currently runs a private account. He began his trading career back in the day with a Datek account and an attitude. Pearlman has always loved to buy fear and sell euphoria. He is an editor of The StockTwits Edge (Wiley Trading). Pearlman holds a BA in English from the University of Maryland and a doctorate in clinical psychology from Argosy University.
