Value Investing: Thinking Like an Owner (Video)

As investors, one of the things that we hear consistently is that it’s important to “Invest like an Owner.” This is especially true to value investors, who will sometimes own companies for years. Warren Buffett has famously said that his “ideal holding period is forever“. We caught up with David Schue, CFA, a research analyst and portfolio manager at Cascade Investment Advisors in Portland, Oregon to get his take on the many maxims that we commonly hear in value investing lore.
