Cynthia Harrington, CFA, is a serial entrepreneur with successful education technology and investment management companies. She worked with pioneering crowdfunding company Issuance and helped dozens of firms raise Reg A and CF funds. She has consulted for start-ups on successful fundraising from early stages up to $60 million rounds. Harrington sold her SEC registered large cap value manager in 2000. As an award-winning journalist, she has written more than 400 articles for CFA Magazine, Fraud Magazine, Accounting Today, Financial Engineering News, and Journal of Accountancy, among other. She co-authored two textbooks: Corporate Finance for the CFA program, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners’ course on Financial Statement Fraud. Harrington was cited as one of the "fifty prominent authorities on performance measurement," She holds the chartered financial analyst (CFA) designation.
