Nga Pham, PhD, CFA, is a research fellow at the Monash Centre for Financial Studies (MCFS) in Australia. She works on issues related to pensions and corporate governance. Nga is also a member of the Disclosure and Transparency Committee of the International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN). Before MCFS, Nga was an academic at Hanoi University where she served as the Dean of the Faculty of Management and Tourism. Nga’s industry experience includes three years of corporate governance consulting for the International Finance Corporation (a member of the World Bank Group). Her projects involved raising awareness, regulatory advisory, and capacity building in corporate governance for listed companies in Vietnam. She has also worked as an equity analyst in Vietnam. Nga has an MBA and a PhD in Finance from La Trobe University in Australia. She has been a CFA charterholder since 2011.
