Quantitative Finance is Not Dead, Just Evolving (Video)

After the Great Recession, some quantitative finance watchers stated that the discipline was dead. Yet, some practitioners — such as Attilio Meucci, CFA, of SYMMYS — are evolving new ways for coping with the real world’s complexities. Meucci’s sense of humor shines through in this interview, in which he discusses what is, by definition, the greatest financial risk and how to deal with it. How risks and risk management are evolving is a cutting-edge topic and one sure to be discussed at SYMMYS Advanced Risk & Portfolio Management Bootcamp, 12–17 August 2013, in New York City.

Ethics Statement

My statement of ethics is very simple, really: I treat others as I would like to be treated. In my opinion, all systems of ethics distill to this simple statement. If you believe I have deviated from this standard, I would love to hear from you: jason@jasonapollovoss.com
